Human evolution: Timeline

1. What's been the role of climate change in the development of humans? The climate was important in our development, because for its change the early humans have to travel somewhere where the climate was more warm and pleasant. In this conditions, of greatest climate, the brain increase fast in early humans managing the intelligent that we have today.

2. In your opinion, what is the most significant milestone for the human evolution? Why? In my opinion the most significant milestone for the human evolution is the creation of weapons and tools, because for me this actions was the beginning to the technology nowadays.

3. Which early human species was thought to be the first to use tools made from stone? The species Homo habilis was thought to represent the first stone toolmaker, but the oldest stone tool are older than the oldest evidence of genus Homo. Anyways the Homo habilis was call in honor of this thinking because its name means “Handy man”.

4. Who were the first human species to travel to and live in Europe? When? The first one was the Homo heidelbergensis about 700.00 to 200.00 years ago.


5. Which species survived for the longest time? For how long? The species who survived for a long time was the Homo erectus because its survived between about 1.89 million  and 143.000 years ago
